Our Story
Built in the 1920’s, Quinney Oaks event venue offers a unique setting that will take you back to the antebellum era with a certain classic look and elegance that you cannot find elsewhere.
Starting a wedding business was a dream that began many, many years ago. We bought Quinney Oaks Plantation in 1989 and moved our family to town. As time went on we completed renovation project after project and our “work in progress” slowly but surely became a home for our family. It is a home where we have lived for over 20 years, watched our children grow up in, and made wonderful memories with our family!
A wedding business was always in the back of our minds. Each project that we completed brought us closer and closer to achieving this dream. Our first wedding was our daughter's in May of 2012 and that really gave us our jump start in this business. This dream is now a reality, and we absolutely love what we do! We are honored that couples select us to help make their wedding dreams come true. Making life-long memories is what it is all about.
Our event venue is located in Millen, GA, just five miles from Magnolia Springs State Park. We are located just a short distance from Augusta, Statesboro, Sylvania, and Swainsboro. Quinney Oaks can host your events ranging from small get-togethers to weddings of 350 or more.
